Having a Voice

I woke this morning contemplating what having a voice means. To some it means being able to speak to some it means being able to sing. my definition is the ability to express who you truly are. Expressing thoughts and feelings and beliefs. How I see the world.

As a stay at home Mom of four children I did not feel able to really express myself. Financially I felt keeping the peace was important to my security. Keeping the peace not rocking the boat over what I thought were small issues or were told were not important led to anxiety and depression and eventually a complete breakdown which further eroded any self…
